Based on the current research status of road traffic accidents in China and the research results of basic data on Chinese automobiles, and considering the synergy with international advanced new car safety assessment systems, in order to continuously improve the safety performance of Chinese automobiles and promote the continuous progress of road traffic in China towards the ultimate goal of “zero deaths,” “zero injuries,” and ultimately “zero accidents,” the C-NCAP evaluation regulations have been formulated for the 2024 version based on the 2021 version after three years of development.

During the development stage of the C-NCAP (2024 version) regulations, it received strong support from the C-NCAP Expert Technical Committee and valuable suggestions from the entire industry during the public consultation process. Through in-depth communication between the Automotive Evaluation Management Center and experts in various fields, the draft for public consultation has been adjusted and finalized, and is now being released.

The English translation of the “C-NCAP Management Regulations (2024 Edition)” received strong support from BMW (China) Services Ltd. and other units during the translation process. Sincere thanks are extended to them!

基于中国道路交通事故研究现状及中国汽车基础数据研究成果，并考虑到与国际先进的新车安全评价体系保持协同，为了持续提升中国汽车安全性能，推动中国道路交通从“零死亡”向“零伤亡”再向“零事故”的终极目标不断前进，C-NCAP测评规程在2021版基础上，历经三年制订出2024版。

C-NCAP（2024版）在规程草案制定阶段得到了C-NCAP专家技术委员会的大力支持，在公开征求意见过程中收到了来自全行业的宝贵建议，经汽车测评管理中心与各领域专家深入沟通，对征求意见稿进行调整并形成正式稿,现予以发布。
